Shipping & Delivery
All orders are dispatched by contract courier companies, including Australia Post for smaller parcels. We use the best available couriers but cannot guarantee short delivery times so please ensure you allow an extra half day whenever possible.
Delivery delays may be experienced due to high volume of customer pre-orders, especially at peak times such as beginning of month, Christmas, after public holidays or due to unforeseen courier demands.
Same Day Delivery:

For same day (morning dispatch) delivery to these areas orders must be finalised by:
- 7:30am (online order)
For same day (afternoon dispatch) shipment and next day delivery to these areas orders must be finalised by:
- 10:30pm (online order)
Next Day Delivery:
- Adelaide, Canberra & Sydney Metro
- VIC Country regions
- Major NSW Coastal & Murray centres
- QLD North to Mackay
For same day shipment and next day delivery to these areas orders must be finalised by:
- 10:00am (online orders)
2-3 Day Delivery:
- Some Country Regions of NSW, SA & ACT
- Northern & Far North QLD
(Note that deliveries to some remote areas of TAS may take up to 4 days.)

Cut-off times refer to Victorian time. Point-to-Point delivery service is available in some areas of Melbourne Metro at extra cost by agreement.Cost is by agreement. Overnight delivery to Tasmania is available. Cost is by agreement.
Delivery may occur between 8:15am – 6:00pm. All couriers require a signature at the time of delivery (unless instructed otherwise – please see below). If no-one will be available to accept delivery all day please nominate a nearby address (eg. neighbour or nearby business) where the delivery can be accepted and signed for by someone you have authorised to do so on your behalf.
When placing your order you may, entirely at your risk, request the courier to leave your delivery in a nominated place without a signature. PLEASE NOTE: Billa Australia Pty Ltd is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft resulting from goods being left unattended at or near premises. In all cases you agree to pay for goods that the courier states in writing have been delivered to the address that you have nominated.
We also offer postal delivery, but unfortunately are unable to send quantities of liquids in the post.

CHILLED GOODS SHIPMENT
Some special items in our range may potentially be harmed by excessively high temperatures during shipment (for instance, some probiotics, some food items such as chocolate, or other temp sensitive items). If you wish to have these items shipped in a cool box, these will be charged at $2.50 for a small (5L) and $5 for a large (10L) box (i.e. at the cost that Billa Australia Pty Ltd is charged for the boxes). Additional freight charges may apply.
We strongly recommend the use of cool boxes to maintain the quality and freshness of these sensitive products whenever the temperature is expected to exceed approx 30C, but the choice is yours. We will not credit or accept return of any temperature sensitive goods where a customer has not selected a cool box and claims the goods have been heat damaged.
Please note that these items will not be dispatched on Fridays where delivery is not expected until the following week. Pickups are available at normal times.
All online orders over $230 ex GST are FREIGHT FREE (to Australian Mainland delivery addresses only, excluding WA and some other remote locations). A remote location surcharge may apply. to some areas.
Otherwise, freight charges will be applied by customer service as follows:
- All areas: $11.00 plus gst
- Point-to-Point 2-4 hour delivery times available within Melbourne metro areas by agreement
- Tasmania - Normal freight is a 3 to 4 working day service.
- Next day to Tasmania is available by agreement. (Air freight restrictions apply)
*An additional freight charge will apply for shipping of heavy/bulk items (such as > 5L or > 5kg) or heavy low cost items. Our customer service staff will advise of any extra costs prior to shipping.
*A remote location freight surcharge may apply to some customers in remote areas. Our customer service staff will advise if this surcharge applies.
Please be aware that our travel accessories require approximately 2-3 weeks to be shipped and delivered as we source them through one of our other suppliers
